His nonprofit expertise blends seamlessly
with his 20 years of experience in advertising and direct marketing.
James has provided
services to over a dozen clients ranging from colleges and high schools
to arts
education organizations, from a health care center to a community parks
organization, from performing arts centers to summer camps for special
needs
youth. He has written grants for general
operating support, capital, and capacity building, as well as for
programs
ranging from arts education to scholarship and tuition, from campus
ministry to
artistic performances to folk arts. He

James’

working with
a program manager to put together a competitive proposal.
He understands advertising
media and communications
disciplines. He can create and deliver
effective presentations and he can work effectively with technical and
support
staff in database marketing, direct mail, telemarketing, loyalty
retention,
print production and internet environments. And
he is comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Publisher, and MS
PhotoDraw.
In addition to working
with his clients, James serves on the Marketing Committee for the
American
Association of Grant Professionals. In
that capacity since June 2004, he has developed the AAGP Graphics
Design Guide,
an AAGP membership brochure and the Annual Member Report, and is
collaborating
on the development of an AAGP comprehensive marketing plan for the
organization. James received
the President’s Award for his work on the AAGP Marketing Committee at the 2005
Annual Conference.
Professional Career – Mr. Kopp has over 20 years of
senior-level
experience in advertising and marketing involving business-to-business
